SHIPPING PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
Our specialized shipping kits will ensure that your milk is shipped safely. We will send you everything you need to send your milk to us for freeze-drying!
We will send a complete breast-milk shipping kit to your door; just pack and affix the pre-paid shipping label. Please follow the instructions below for a step-by-step guide to packing your shipping kit. Our specialized shipping coolers do not require dry ice or ice-packs of any kind.

PACKING YOUR COOLER
Release the two (2) white Velcro straps around the white Nanocool insulated shipper box.
Do not cut these straps!
Leave the straps in place around the insulated shipper box, as you will use them to repackage for return shipping.
Remove the lid from the cooler. There will be a plastic bag liner inside - please leave this liner in place.
Open the second plastic bag liner that has been provided with these instructions, and place inside the cooler.
Pack your frozen bags of milk into the bag liner while in the cooler.
Pack as many bags as will comfortably fit, but take care not to overfill the cooler. The lid must sit flush on top of the cooler with no gaps.
***Overfilling the box will result in the cooler lid not fitting, and will risk premature thawing of your milk during shipping.***
Use the provided order seal to close the top of your bag liner.
Place the lid back on top of the cooler. Make sure that the cooler lid sits flush on top of the cooler.
Make sure that no parts of the bag liner or any corners of your bags are in between the cooler and the lid.
Do not use packing tape to attach the lid to the cooler.
Close the flaps on the white Nanocool insulated shipper box, and secure with the Velcro straps.
SHIPPING BACK TO MILKIFY
Close the flaps of the outer cardboard shipping box and use packing tape to secure.
Attach the return shipping label to the outside of the cardboard shipping box, covering the old shipping label.
Drop-off your box at a FedEx location or schedule a pick-up on the FedEx website by providing the tracking number on your return shipping label.
Ship on Monday - Wednesday to avoid any potential weekend shipping delays
As soon as your order is received, it will be immediately inspected. You will receive an email from Milkify confirming that we have received your order and that it passes our quality control standard (still frozen and no visible rips/tears/leaks).
Drop off your Milkify return package at a FedEx location or call FedEx to schedule a pickup.
Keep the outer cardboard shipping box.
Leave the white Nanocool insulated shipper box inside the outer cardboard shipping box. You will ship back to us in the same 2 boxes that arrived at your door.
Be careful not to damage the cooler walls or lid when opening the Nanocool insulated shipper.
The specially insulated panels and lid of this cooler are vacuum-sealed, and in order to work properly, they must not be punctured, ripped, or torn in any way. If there is any damage to the exterior box, or the insulated shipper inside, report it to Milkify immediately and do not use the package to ship your milk.
Your milk must be frozen completely solid before packing into the insulated shipper.
Pack your insulated shipper immediately before shipping and ensure that your milk is frozen solid when it is being packed. The cooler will keep your frozen milk frozen for up to four (4) days, but to ensure a successful shipping experience, your milk must be frozen solid when packed, and then shipped as soon as possible after packing.
We track every shipment while in the air, and are available to receive packages 7 days a week. You will also receive tracking updates. However, plan to ship on Monday - Wednesday to avoid any potential shipping delays or weekend delivery complications.
We ask that you pack your order and ship back to Milkify within two (2) weeks of receiving the insulated shipper.
Your order will be cancelled if we don’t receive your return shipment within thirty (30) days. In this case, you will be refunded for the cost of the service, less the cost of the insulated shipper and restocking fee.
